Guys we are lucky to live in UK..

Health care is free for EVERYBODY, some times you even get paid back money used for transport... How luckier can it get

TRY AMERICA, sometimes you don't even qualify to pay for your healthcare for past diseases... what??? crazy

I think a country's real benefits depends on who you are. I don't think some corrupt politician would appreciate being in the UK.
In general, developed nations offer a lifestyle which I could say is high in terms of "quantity". The usual way would be that it is also high in terms of "quality", but I am not so sure now. People get concerned and stressed in developed nations. Maybe it is because of increased expectations.
As for free Health Care and transport costs' returns, Canada may have a better plan. I often hear that Canada has the best Health plan in the world, and that from many sources. But I am not 100% sure.
In terms of quality of life, Scandinavian countries may do better than many "big" countries and I wouldn't be surprised to see the UK not making it into the "top 10"!
But overall, it just depends on who you are in that country....

Canada has got the best health plan in the world but i always talk in term of what do I have, the glass is half full for me... not half empty
